Our engineers own the complete customer experience for our three SaaS platforms, working on a wide range of technologies (including GCP libraries, React and React Native, Firebase and AWS cloud hosting services, nosql and sql database structure, material ui) and build and operate highly scalable, low latency mobile products and services.

About the Role

We are seeking a React Native developer to build performant mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, and coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience
• Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native and work with native modules when required

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
