Position
- Role: VP of Engineering
- Salary: > $6,000

Challenge & Opportunity
- Build a world-class product from the ground-up
- Form a team of A-Players
- Shape the initial culture & vision of the company
- Autonomously own & lead all tech initiatives

Work
- Report to the CEO
- Build a team of 4-5 talented engineers
- Own, build & maintain the entire tech-stack
- Come up with creative solutions to business & technical problems
- Set the initial tech-culture & processes in the company
- Provide mentorship to team
Requirements
- 6+ Yrs Experience in multiple team management
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale applications
- Strong knowledge of Javascript(ES6+), Typescript, Node.js, React
- Experienced in creating RESTful Apis & microservice architecture
- Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
- Experience with document-oriented databases (i.e. MongoDB, Couchbase)
- Professional experience of cloud platform hosting via AWS
- Excels in industry best-practices & standards
- Up-to-date & ahead of modern-technologies
- Takes a results/value driven approach (no over-engineering)
- Passionately wants to be in a startup environment
- Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment
- High-proficiency in English
